We get some fake thrills, a typical story and a whole lot of bad acting and writing. This year, however, a couple trailers for horror films have managed to convince the schmuck writing this piece that this could be the year where we get some groundbreaking horror films. The Lords of Salem trailer is fantastic because it doesn't give to much away. We get a taste of what is to come. We get Salem, witches, beasts and whatever the hell else I was watching! It's also a trailer that isn't afraid to go dark. When a trailer is enough to give you nightmare then you know the movie has a real shot at being something worthwhile. So another reason to expect horror greatness come mid April is the creepy and very well knit trailer for the latest dark craziness from the mind of Rob Zombie.
