1. The Title
I know what you're thinking: titles are no reason to get excited! That can be true, but it can also not. Zombie has had a knack for titles so far (minus the Halloween films) and sometimes they can suggest a level of creativity in the project. Lords of Salem isn't just a creepy title; it sounds like the title to a Rob Zombie album, it sounds like the name of a haunted house attraction, it just sounds like a great damn horror film. Salem already conjures up enough horror on its own, but watch the trailer and tell me the whole concept of The Lords of Salem does not get you excited for this movie. Rob Zombie's newest definitely has some great reasons to expect horror greatness, namely the director himself. However, even if we can't agree on the reasons, we can most certainly agree on one point: The Lords of Salem looks like it is going to kick ass.
