Rumour has it that a studio rep was sent down to the set to keep George Miller in check during the filming of Mad Max: Fury Road. After all, he has a bit of a reputation when it comes to bringing projects in on time and on budget. Well, he managed it with Fury Road, once filming actually got going. The result? The studio was so happy with an early cut of the film they handed him some extra money to shoot an action scene that had been originally cut from the script as too expensive.
