Making A Murderer: 12 Documentaries To Binge-Watch Next
5. The Cheshire Murders (2013)
In this powerful documentary, a quiet suburban home becomes the grizzly set of a horrendous home invasion where a mother and two daughters are brutally raped, tortured and killed. If this wasn't bad enough, the police had surrounded the house and much of the crime took place while they planned their next move. This well presented film argues that costly mistakes were made by the police department and the critical decisions they made allowed much of the crime to continue, suggesting that the murders could have been prevented. Although rather graphic in its description of the crimes, the narrative is spellbinding and bound to set your blood to boil. Where can you see it?
