Man Of Steel: 10 Things You Might Have Missed

9. Lana Lang Everyone

Jadin There's a grand traditional of characters having identical initials in comics and for those in the Superman world, it seems to be L. Along with Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, there's the ever so different Lana Lang. Primarily featured while Clark's growing up in Smallville, she was a local cheerleader and the super boy's teenage love interest. Lang has already appeared on screen twice (as well as in cartoon form on TV). In Superman: The Movie she cameos at Smallville High and in Superman III we meet an all grown up and a single mother. Her latest appearance in Man Of Steel is even smaller than these, leading to many fans not noticing her at all. While Clark get's bullied on the ill fated school bus, the one girl who seems to be nice to him (how typical of a superhero movie) is a brief cameo for Lana. Played by Jadin Gould, we never hear her name said on film and aside from looking a bit shocked there's little to the character. Still, it's nice to see the film paying homage to some more minor characters from the Golden Age.
