Man of Steel: 10 Ways to Include the Justice League

5. Hal Jordan, Test Pilot

Originally, Zack Snyder said that he had no intention of connecting his Man of Steel movie to the upcoming Justice League attempt, but arguably, the failure of 2011€™s Green Lantern movie wasarguably the point that Warner Bros. started expressing a desire to do just that. Without a definitive Green Lantern film to market as part of the main canon, it€™s not too far outside the realms of imagination to speculate that Warner Bros. may even look to somehow get the young ring-slinger referenced in Man of Steel somehow. As you know, before Green Lantern Hal Jordan was gifted with his power ring, he was a professional test pilot - and a bit of a suicidal one at that. Including him could be easy enough with a simple reference to his instantly recognisable name, although I€™m envisioning a scene in which Superman must rescue a pre-GL Hal Jordan from a malfunctioning jetfighter. This would probably warrant its own scene though, and it€™s questionable whether Synder would be willing (or able) to include something like that at this stage. Still, you can€™t deny it€™d be pretty badass.
