1. The Elite
I can't help thinking that this would be absolutely awesome. The Elite are a group of ruthless vigilantes, led by the enormously powerful British telepath and telekinetic Manchester Black, who take it upon themselves to fight crime by viciously killing the assailants to prevent them from causing further trouble. Superman, who prefers to avoid lethal force, takes umbrage to their methods and comes into conflict with them. This results in Manchester Black using his powerful and intricate telekinesis to very precisely nip on a (very durable) artery in Superman's brain, which induces a stroke in the man of steel. This could make for a fantastic on screen storyline. We know that Henry Cavill's Superman was forced to kill General Zod, but it was obvious that he didn't want to have to do so. Therefore, he would certainly be unhappy with a group of super-powered anti-hero vigilantes going around killing people who are carrying out petty crimes. Other members of the Elite include Black's sister Vera (a psionic cyborg), Coldcast who can manipulate electromagnetism, and Hat who is a man who wears a magic hat.
