Man Of Steel 2: 7 Villains We Really Need To See

1. Braniac

Braniac Comics
DC Comics

Imagine an evil Vulcan with the strength of Superman and you’re halfway there – Braniac is an artificial intelligence created by the greatest minds on the planet of Colu to conquer other planets. As with all dystopian AI’s, Braniac quickly overcomes his programming (it was designed to never become more intelligent than Colu’s greatest mind) and embarks on his own mission to take over the cosmos. Braniac does this in a particularly novel way – he steals cities and shrinks them, before destroying the planet and erasing all evidence of their existence, leaving him the sole curator of their culture and intelligence.

The most famous of these conquests is the capture of Kandor, the high tech capital of Krypton. This in particular tortures Kal-El as he is never able to restore the city to its true size, preventing him from interacting with the only other living survivors of Krypton.

The introduction of Braniac in the DCEU would provide its first truly great villain. Fuelled logic, his intelligence and supreme arrogance, Braniac could rescue the franchise from the debacle that is Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, while his technological might would provide the spectacle big summer blockbusters demand.

Plus, any bad guy that travels the galaxy in a skull shaped ship full of bottled cities gets my vote.
