1. Lois Has Been Chasing Superman For A While
In the original Superman stories, Lois Lane didn't know who Superman was until he put on a cape and began saving the world, but another tweak of the mythology on Zack Snyder's part appears to be changing that. In the trailer, we hear Lois ask, "How do you find someone who has spent a lifetime covering his tracks?", accompanied by clips of her looking around a dark, non-descript location of some sort, suggesting that she's been following him for a while (perhaps since the oil rig incident in which he appears to demonstrate his powers in broad daylight, sacrificing anonymity in order to save human lives). This should create an interesting new dynamic that will set this Superman iteration apart from what came before; for instance, Clark working in the Daily Planet appears to be one narrative thread that's been abandoned entirely (unless this is perhaps how the film ends?)
