Marvel: 10 Most Underused Technologies In The MCU

6. Nanobots

Nanotechnology was first introduced in Avengers: Infinity War as the material composing Iron Man's Mark 50 armour. The tech was created by Stark Industries with help from Wakanda and turned Iron Man into somewhat of a shapeshifter. The suit was composed of billions of tiny, highly durable robots which could morph into any shape Stark required, allowing him to cycle between countless pre-programmed weapons mid-combat.

This power would be helpful to the world in so many ways if it were allowed to be mass-produced. Construction crews could use a handful of nanoprobes to create any tools they need for the job. Doctors could safely examine the insides of patients' bodies by injecting specialized nanoprobes. As we see from Spider-Man: No Way Home, they can also be used to subdue attackers painlessly (Dr. Octavius).

Sadly for the world, like most Stark tech, the nanobots are exclusively used by Iron Man and his prodigy, Spider-Man. A technology that could fundamentally change almost every industry on Earth gets used to marginally improve a couple suits of armour.
