Marvel: 10 Most Underused Technologies In The MCU

7. Pym Particles

Pym Particles are particles synthesized by Hank Pym that give Ant-Man his power, but the ability to grow or shrink objects on command was not invented by Marvel. In fact, many other movies have used this power much more realistically.

At the end of Honey, I Shrunk The Kids from 1989, the family uses their shrinking/growing technology to create a giant turkey that looks like it could feed at least five families and a dog biscuit that's bigger than the dog itself. More recently, in the 2017 film Downsizing, people are shrunken down to solve overpopulation.

Of course Pym Particles are rare and hard to synthesize but Ant-Man gave some to Hawkeye who, in the Disney+ show, Hawkeye, used them to create an arrow as tall as a skyscraper and shrink several people, leading to the (most likely) being horrifically eaten by a bird. Instead of creating a building-sized arrow that causes massive property damage, what about a bunch of building sized fruits and vegetables that could completely end world hunger.
