Marvel Cinematic Universe: 10 Plot Points That Needed Further Exploration

8. The Discovery & Recuperation Of Steve Rogers

Captain America Apart from a flashback scene in which one of the recovery crew says 'oh my god, this guy's still alive', there was very little about the recovery of Steve Rogers AKA Captain America (Chris Evans) shown in the Avengers movie. And, when he awakened in his faux-1940s room, he immediately ran out on to the streets looking healthier than ever. The next time he is seen, he's bashing the hell out of a series of punch-bags and then he's sent to fight a demi-god. Aside from being described as 'all over the place' by Black Widow (which was probably unfair given his vastly more powerful opponent), there is no apparent damage to Steve's body. No aching, no tiredness, no muscle wastage... nothing. Although this might be explored more in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it certainly was rushed in the Avengers movie.
