7. Loki Gathering His Earth Forces
The rushed explanation for this was that 'SHIELD has no shortage of enemies', but it would have been better to have seen where these guys were rounded up from. Were they merely all ex-SHIELD agents with a vendetta? Were they simply American military? Were they modern HYDRA agents? Were they AIM agents? What about the scientists who assisted Selvig behind the scenes? Maybe we'll find out in the future, but it would've made more sense to explain it at the time. And how did Loki and company gather these forces so quickly? It all seemed a tad contrived and should have been covered in a bit more depth.
