In 2017, one of the biggest and most epic events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date is set to take place in the form of Thor: Ragnarok. It will see a war of epic proportions in Asgard, which will probably result in the deaths of some key characters - and many people are expecting Loki to be orchestrating the whole thing. But what if he wasn't? What if Loki has known all along about the coming of Ragnarok and has been making a bunch of unorthodox tactical moves to prepare his adopted home for it as best he can? His methods might have been naive, but he may well surprise everyone by having Asgard's best interests at heart.
