2. Mandarin, Vision & Wasp In Iron Man 3
The Mandarin is the point of much debate but the tactic they employed could have still worked if they simply embellished it. What if Killian still used the Mandarin as a terrorist front and went about his business but, unbeknownst to Killian, the Mandarin had his own men also working on Extremis projects? They could work on 10 rings that when Extremis is channeled through them, project different results such as lightening, fire, etc. This way, Killian can still be credited with his secret plan but then gets killed by the Mandarin. This way the Mandarin is still in control and the one Tony fights at the end. Also, there wouldnt be too much explanation on how the rings work. The fact that they were made by AIM and Extremis runs through the Mandarins body could be a theory by Tony to try and make sense of it, but the Mandarin could play with him never revealing it. Everyone knows the interesting aspect of the Mandarin is that he represents magic in the face of Tonys science, something the movie failed to grasp. What if Tonys Mark 42 suit was altered in a way that he can mentally control it? This could add to his need to be more than just a man in the suit. Instead of needing Jarvis for everything, Tony can mentally do it. Jarvis showed a scary amount of AI in the end battle, controlling a whole fleet of suits without Tonys specific instructions for each one. What if Jarvis approached Tony in the last suit remaining asking what is to become of him if Tony can mentally control everything now? A tidbit for the fans would be the last suit remaining looking incredibly similar to the Vision. And finally, Maya Hansens character could be completely replaced with Janet van Dyne. I dont know what they plan with the Ant Man movie, but if Maya Hansen didnt die and was replaced with the future Wasp, Extremis is the perfect explanation for why she has sting blasts.
