Marvel Cinematic Universe: Definitive Guide To Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And Foreshadowing
Guardians Of The Galaxy
16. Cosmo
The film has a lot of fun with The Collector's museum, throwing in plenty of cameos from various elements of the Cosmic Marvel Universe. Here's Cosmo, a dog sent into space by the U.S.S.R. who floated into deep space before mutating and becoming a telepath. He and Rocket aren't the best of friends, hence to two growling at each during this brief appearance.
15. A Chitauri
Opposite Cosmos is a despondent Chitauri warrior. The race was last seen tearing up New York in The Avengers. Clearly not all of their numbers were wiped out when Tony Stark Phantom Menaced their command ship, meaning this cameo also leaves the door open for more Skrull-inspired antics in the future.
14. Howard The Duck
Visible for a second as The Collector introduces himself is long-standing Marvel hate figure Howard the Duck, locked in a floating crate. Also in the same shot is what many assumed to be Beta Ray Bill, although James Gunn has denied this.
13. Adam Warlock's Cocoon
Adam Warlock's cocoon is still present in Tivan's collection, seen in the background for much of the scene after featuring semi-prominently in Thor: The Dark World's mid-credits.
