Marvel Cinematic Universe: Every 2018 Project Ranked Worst To Best
2. Daredevil: Season 3
By and large, of all the Netflix shows set within the MCU, Daredevil has consistently been the best of the bunch. The first season's debut back in 2015 was met with massive acclaim, the second season - though divisive - was still pretty solid, particularly thanks to its introduction of the Punisher, and even the character's appearance in The Defenders last year is generally considered one of that lukewarm series' brightest spots, and thus the third season arrived this past October to a different level of expectations than, say, something like Iron Fist.
Once again, Charlie Cox proved just how great he is in this role, and same goes for Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, who returned in full to remind us why he's one of the MCU's best villains period. The show's loose adaptation of the iconic "Born Again" storyline worked wonders, putting Matt through the wringer, and newcomers like Jay Ali's tragic Agent Nadeem and Wilson Bethel's Bejamin Poindexter turned out to be fantastic additions to the series.
And, of course, much has been said about the season's action sequences, from the fights between Daredevil and Poindexter to the epic prison escape, all of which built to a final conflict between Daredevil and Fisk in the finale. Though the show ended with a tease of Poindexter officially becoming Bullseye, everything else wrapped up pretty nicely, from Fisk's defeat to Matt, Foggy, and Karen finally coming together again, bringing a fantastic season to a pretty perfect end, even if the the show's cancellation will continue to sting for a long time to come.
