Marvel Cinematic Universe Films - Ranked By Their Villains

1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - The Winter Soldier / Alexander Pierce / Hydra 2.0

Captain America The Winter Soldier Bucky Barnes Sebastian Stan Captain America: The Winter Soldier has the best villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by far. It has everything. A badass villain who can go toe-to-toe with the hero? Check. Villain in a suit who will smile to your face and stab you in the back? Check. An army of followers? Check. A complex plan and the nerve to carry it out? Check. It's as if Marvel took the best traits of all of its other films' villains and threw them together in Captain America 2. Let's start with The Winter Soldier. He has the look (he has a freakin' metal arm for crying out loud), the temperament (he doesn't give a damn), and the abilities of a bad ass villain. He can hold his own in a fight with Cap and we'd even give him a fighting chance against the Hulk. On his own, he would be a kick ass villain, but Captain America 2 also gives us Alexander Pierce, the brains behind the operation, and Hydra 2.0. Pierce is the equivalent to Obadiah Stane but with much more ruthless ambition, and Hydra 2.0 has infiltrated SHIELD. The good guys are the bad guys! To top it off, through Project Insight, not only does Pierce plan on killing all of Hydra's current threats, but potential threats as well. The man is literally attacking the future. It doesn't get more villainous than that. Do you agree with our list? Would you swap a few of the films around? Do you hate Whiplash's whip as much as we do? Let us know in the comments below.

Yes, my last name is pronounced exactly as it's spelled. Just like "going to the store". ;) I am an aspiring writer currently working on my first novel, which is GOING to be awesome once it's published. (See what I did there?) I love reading, am a HUGE film buff (who welcomes all trivia challenges), and never miss a New York Giants football game. I'm an open book so if there is anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask.
