This past week, Marvel Studios made an amazing announcement that revealed no less than nine new films are in development - all of which will be released by 2019. With Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man already scheduled for a 2015 release, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now have no less than eleven movies to look forward to as the franchise continues to grow to unprecedented levels. Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, Captain Marvel, Inhumans and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 are now all confirmed and, along with millions of fans around the world, we can't wait. There are a number of stand-out films amongst that little lot - not least the small matter of a Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Civil War storyline. Civil War was an epic comic book event that saw the super-powered characters of the Marvel universe having to choose a side when it came to registering as a superhuman with the government - the pro-registration side being led by Iron Man or the anti-registration side led by being Captain America. The movie version will never be as large-scale as the comic book version and a lot of people can't see how it will be done.
