It would be absolutely moronic to adapt a huge event like Civil War which, even scaled down for cinematic purposes, involves small armies of superheroes fighting each and not have some serious casualties and at least a couple of deaths. In the comic book version of the story, Captain America himself was killed by Crossbones while heroes like Goliath also perished. While we wouldn't like to guess who might be killed, we would certainly predict that some prominent characters will be. Captain America's death would deny us future moments like him confronting Thanos like he did in the comics when the Mad Titan had the Infinity Gauntlet but, with Sebastian Stan set to take over the mantle of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Steve Rogers' death is certainly a possibility and we could lose several other heroes too.
