The Civil War movie is coming just one year after Age of Ultron is released and, while that doesn't necessarily mean the film is only set a year after the Avengers sequel, it certainly isn't going to be set too far in the future and, as a result, we fully expect the Earth still to be something of a mess after the havoc Ultron wreaked. Buildings will still be destroyed, abandoned smashed cars will still be strewn around and the Avengers will probably still be helping to pick up the pieces. What that means is that the split that Civil War inevitably causes is probably coming at a very inappropriate time, when the characters who participate in it would be of much more use helping Earth to recover - and that will add a very interesting dynamic to proceedings.
