McDowell signed up for 3 Halloween movies & new trailer!

sssssss.jpgOk, so I managed to find time for one quick update (check back later for the rest)... Malcolm McDowell has revealed to Rotten Tomatoes (via Bloody Disgusting) that he has signed up for a further two Halloween movies after Rob Zombie's remake which will hit cinema's this August.
"I've signed for three," Malcolm McDowell tells Rotten Tomatoes. "How about that? They obviously think it's going to be a big hit." "I have to tell you that I've never seen Halloween 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7. I must be one of the only people on the planet never to have seen any of the films and I'm so glad because I asked the director, Rob Zombie, whether he thought I should see them and he said, 'No, better no.'"
Zombie has made it clear that he has no intentions of directing any more Halloween movies after his remake. It's nice and all that Dimension Films think they have a financially successful franchise on their hands here, but once this remake goes down badly with critics and fans a like, the people returning for the sequel will heavily decrease. If I were to look inside my crystal ball, I would say we will get one more Halloween movie after this one, before the franchise dies again and we won't reach the third. Bloody Disgusting have a brand new "yellow band" trailer for Halloween, which I'm presuming isn't as graphic or as violent as a "red band" trailer. CLICK HERE TO SEE NEW TRAILER Well I can't tell any difference between the old one and this new "yellow band" one. Don't know what new footage they have added. Your still not selling your movie to me Rob and your "terrifiying new vision" of horror looks rather lame to me.
