MCU: 10 Biggest Reveals From D23

While the Infinity Saga saw each Phase capped off with an Avengers movie or two, even if they weren’t strictly the final chapter of the story, that isn’t how the Multiverse Saga is working. Instead, Avengers 5 and 6 will conclude the entire three-phase story, rather than at the end of each chapter.

That, of course, leaves this position open in Phases Four and Five, to be taken up by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Thunderbolts respectively. The latter was officially announced at Comic Con, and just two months later, the roster has been confirmed and it is ridiculously exciting.

Joining the team Valentina Allegra de Fontaine has been putting together since Phase Four began will be Yelena Belova, John Walker, the Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and Bucky Barnes. A lot, if not all of these names had been theorised prior to the announcement, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting.

Every single name here has the potential to bring something incredible to the team and to the movie, and when you think that this likely isn’t even the full cast, it’s easy to see why Thunderbolts has been given such a big slot in Phase Five.
