MCU: 10 Biggest Reveals From D23
3. A Falcon & The Winter Soldier Reunion
One of the most anticipated movie’s on the MCU’s Phase Five slate is undoubtedly Captain America: New World Order. Anthony Mackie absolutely shone while carrying The Falcon and the Winter Soldier last year, and now has the chance to take his new-found Captain America to the big screen.
He won’t be the only character returning from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The series in itself was relatively underwhelming, with the likes of the action, the villain’s story, and the pacing coming under scrutiny, however the characters introduced were simply exceptional.
Joining Sam in his big screen debut carrying the shield will be Danny Ramirez’s Joaquín Torres, potentially taking on the mantle of Falcon, and Carl Lumbly, who not only brought Isaiah Bradley to life, injected the series with its main source of heart and emotion.
There is no word currently on anyone else from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier joining the New World Order ranks. Bucky and John Walker will be busy in Thunderbolts, but there is no reason to think that they, Sharon Carter, Zemo, or even Eli Bradley in a further tease of the Young Avengers couldn't appear.
