MCU: 10 Characters Who Will Definitely Survive Phase 3
8. Most Of The Guardians
The galaxy's oddest heroes and Marvel's biggest risk, the Guardians have turned into serious business with two films to do (one of which is great, the other good). After flying around the cosmos, they're finally coming to Earth next year for Infinity War, before continuing that story in Avengers 4.
Why They'll Survive
Guardians Vol. 3 is already confirmed - with James Gunn once again directing and writing - for whatever shape the post-Phase 3 MCU takes. It's likely to arrive in 2020, in keeping with the gap between Vol. 1 & 2, and means that all of the main team should be back, with it believed the core five are contracted for it.
In terms of characters who could die before then, Nebula is the most obvious contender. Her arc is very heavily tied to Thanos, so it'd be fitting for her to go out fighting him. Drax is an outside bet too, since he's also desperate to kill the Mad Titan, though he's a more key member of the Guardians.
Beyond Vol. 3 it becomes far more uncertain, as that'll bring to a close their current arc, but they will be back for at least one movie in Phase 4.
