Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has no shortage of Easter eggs and references to the comic-book source material, and a good chunk of them are centred around The Ravagers. Sylvester Stallone's Stakar pops up sparingly throughout the movie, mostly to add more context to Yondu's arc, but Marvel have since confirmed that he was actually Starhawk, one of the original Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics.

The entire original team actually shows up in a post-credit scene, with Stallone's hero being joined Aleta Ogord, Charlie-27, Yondu, Martinex, and the A.I. Mainframe who's voiced by none other than an uncredited Miley Cyrus. Gunn has stated it was actually the singer's role on The Voice which got her the role, explaining:

“I find her funny and likable and sweet. I liked that she cared about the contestants […] So we contacted her, and she said yes. She came in and recorded, and she was a delight to work with.”

Kevin Feige has confirmed that these original Guardians will appear again, which means Miley Cyrus could become a permanent member of the MCU. And you know what? I'm TOTALLY down for that.
