MCU movies love product placement and the studio has had a long-running relationship with car-makers Audi (to the point that there's a special adventure linked to Endgame released with an upcoming car release). That all started back with Iron Man, which was supposed to have a bigger Audi presence in the climactic battle.

In the original plans, Tony Stark was supposed to crash his Audi R8 into Iron Monger's legs in the final battle, which would flip the car before Iron Man split the car in half to jump out. Unfortunately, the R8 was too good, refusing to flip no matter what they tried and the roof simply wouldn't split as intended.

As a result, the car was written out of the final sequence, which seems like product placement gone wrong.
