One of the strangest parts of the pre-release marketing campaign revealed the Hulk fans on Sakaar who were spotted in official images daubed in green paint and carrying papier mache idols of the big green monster. It was all explained when the film was released of course and it turned out that he'd amassed a huge fanbase over years of murdering innocent warriors for their sport. Yeah, let's maybe gloss over that bit for a minute.

The wonderful thing about that part of the film is that Taika Waititi turned to the local community where he was filming to help. All of the artwork and banners for the Hulk parade were created by interns from the local Aboriginal community.

Waititi said that he wanted to offer the community the opportunity to experience a real film set and to potentially be inspired by it to take up their own creative projects.
