2. That's Not Natalie Portman Kissing Thor At The End

Just as Robert Downey Jr didn't film Tony Stark's last shots in Iron Man 3 because of injury, Natalie Portman couldn't make it to the set for some of The Dark World's reshoots because of her schedule.

The kissing scene between Thor and Jane Foster, for instance, is not Portman. The scene had to be shot in Hong Kong, as Chris Hemsworth was shooting there, but Portman was shooting elsewhere and couldn't make it across the world. So the decision was made to use a stand-in.

Given the option, Hemsworth chose his wife, she was put in a Natalie Portman wig and they kissed. In Portman's wirds "that's why it was so passionate."

On the same sort of subject, there was such a height difference between Portman and Hemsworth that a box, and later a ramp were necessarily used for some of the close-up and kissing scenes.
