3. Holding Open The Forge - Avengers: Infinity War
Arguably Thor's insanest feat so far in the MCU, Infinity War sees the God of Thunder take the full, unrelenting force of a star in order for the dwarf Eitri (Peter Dinklage) to create his new weapon, Stormbreaker.
Knowing he needs the weapon in order to defeat Thanos, Thor is more than willing to put his life on the line to have it made.
As Eitri begins to form the weapon, Thor uses nothing but his brute strength to keep the forge open, allowing the star to melt the metal that would become Stormbreaker.
Watching his skin begin to burn and listening to him yell in pain makes the scene all the more powerful, and though the power of the star eventually causes him to lose consciousness, it's nonetheless an incredibly daring feat that shows off just how strong and determined Thor can be, even when the odds are stacked against him.
