MCU: 10 Most Anticipated Characters Not Yet Introduced In Phase 4

8. Gorr The God Butcher

Thor: Love and Thunder has high expectations to meet due to its predecessor's winning blend of quirky humour and space fantasy vibes. Fortunately, it has an ace in the hole in the form of Gorr the God Butcher.

Once an atheist, the character became renowned for his intense hatred of gods due to their lack of intervention in saving his family from death. He is equipped with a mystical weapon known as All-Black the Necrosword that enabled him to achieve his deicidal goals after a failed attempt at killing a young Thor

It is clear that such a character needs a specific kind of intensity to define them and their actions, and Christian Bale is the right choice to bring the God Butcher to life and go toe-to-toe with Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder

The presence of the Necrosword in the film may allude to Knull, the God of the Symbiotes, and this may signal an unexpected but intriguing expansion of the MCU's cosmic arena.
