MCU: 10 Most Anticipated Characters Not Yet Introduced In Phase 4
9. Riri Williams/Ironheart
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has the unenviable task of following up to its beloved predecessor without the late, great Chadwick Boseman as the film's lead. Despite this loss and a few behind-the-scenes issues, the film is still highly anticipated for a number of reasons, one of them being the presence of Riri Williams.
Played by Dominique Thorne, her intellect will make her a formidable presence in the film, and may possibly lead to her interacting with the likes of Shuri in intriguing and humourous ways. She will obviously not have the same backing of Tony Stark in the picture as her comics iteration did, but her association with Wakanda is still promising nonetheless.
Thorne is set to reprise the Ironheart role for her own standalone series, indicating that Marvel has big plans for the character moving forward. This is especially true given how Phase 4 so far seems intent on exploring the legacy of its original heroes and their roles in shaping up new ones.
