MCU: 10 Scenes Actors HATED Shooting

These actors weren't too happy about some particular MCU scenes!

It doesn't matter how big or small the feature in question ultimately is, if an actor isn't feeling the way a scene is unfolding or how it eventually comes to be on the big screen, the chances are they're going to let you know about it.

And sure enough, despite the fact that the following names have all found themselves involved with arguably the biggest and most lucrative movie world ever assembled, that still hasn't stopped each of them from letting it be known that some scenes just weren't their idea of a fun time at all.

With everything from unexpectedly uncomfortable stunts to equally embarrassing costumes unfortunately coming with the territory whenever you sign up to be a part of Marvel's sprawling Cinematic Universe, however, it was always inevitable that the folks bringing our favourite superheroes to life were going to hit a few awkward speed bumps along the way.

From green screen hell ruining the experience entirely, to a character's fate leaving a bitter taste in their mouth, these actors simply could not stand the following moments in their MCU careers...

10. Idris Elba Detested His Reshoots - Thor: The Dark World

You'd be forgiven for assuming that Idris Elba couldn't think of anything worse than starring in another CGI-stuffed big screen superhero adventure, what with his comments regarding the reshoots that took place for the second Thor feature, The Dark World, stealing headlines a few years ago. But that still didn't stop him from suiting back up for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad last year.

But jumping back to that disheartening MCU experience, Elba once went on record to state that his stint inside of this titanic universe started to feel like a chore by the time The Dark World came to pass. Specifically highlighting the fact his "head was all over the place" after Age of Ultron, things hadn't got any better since some rather painful reshoots for that Thor sequel in the wake of his work on Mandela.

As Elba would reveal to The Telegraph:

"...I'm thinking: '24 hours ago, I was Mandela.' ... Then there I was, in this stupid harness, with this wig and this sword and these contact lenses. It ripped my heart out."

Elba was somehow convinced to return for Ragnarok and Infinity War in the end, but the damage was seemingly already done.
