2. Chris Hemsworth Isn’t Keen On Being Topless - Thor: The Dark World
On top of his signature one-liners and penchant for smashing things up with various hammers and axes, Chris Hemsworth's Thor has also become somewhat known for his habit of whipping his shirt off in just about every MCU picture he can.
But far from angling for this to be the case in everything from The Dark World to Ragnarok, the actor himself actually isn't the biggest fan of getting his kit off as The God of Thunder. When talking to MTV around the time of the second Thor flick, Hemsworth would confess it was Joss Whedon who actually demanded he go topless in a scene:
"The justification was that it was him coming home from battle, washing blood off his hands. It is what it is. How to weigh into that without sounding like an idiot?"
Again struggling to dodge the shirtless bullet by the time Taika Waititi's comedic Thor spin reared its head, a lack of topless scene in the script was soon undone when the director suddenly asked Hemsworth again to do the deed. To which Thor replied, "Ugh, no we've done that. Don't make me do it again!"
Here's hoping he finally gets to keep it all on in Love and Thunder...
