MCU: 10 Underrated X-Men Who Should Lead Instead Of Wolverine

1. Chamber

Chamber X-Men
Marvel Comics

British mutant Chamber has never really gotten all that much recognition or respect from the comics, so an MCU appearance could give him a shot in the arm. He won’t draw a crowd like Wolverine, Mystique or Storm, but if Marvel opt to toss in some lesser lights, he might get his chance to shine.

The MCU has a fair few British actors, but not that many of them are actually playing Brits; Sherlock duo Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch play Americans, while Paul Bettany played nationless entity JARVIS/Vision and Richard Madden is set to play an Eternal.

There’s the likes of Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, but all in all it feels like there could be a few more. Chamber could be the one to readdress the balance.

Quite a sullen and moody character, he could fit in with a post snap world. Spider-Man: Far From Home played the consequences for laughs, but surely the less comedic movies will explore them in depth. Chamber’s personality could suit this as our first glimpse of Marvel’s take on the mutants.

Plus the chest blaster is one of the coolest and most brutal powers.
