MCU: 10 Worst Things The Avengers Have Done

Since entering the MCU in 2014, Nebula has spent most of her time as either a villain or a Guardian of the Galaxy. However, after drifting through space keeping Tony Stark alive, and going back in time with the rest of the team, she officially became an Avenger.

When Clint and Natasha traveled back to retrieve the soul stone from Vormir, they had no idea what they would have to do in order to succeed. Not a hint of the everlasting exchange the stone would demand, or the ultimate sacrifice one of them would have to make. Nebula, on the other hand, actually did.

She knew that Thanos went to Vormir with Gamora, and when she saw her father on Titan with the soul stone in his possession, she was able to deduce what had happened to her sister. When the time heist began, she knew that only one of Clint or Nat would return, but she chose to keep her mouth shut.

The whole point of the time heist was to do whatever it took to defeat Thanos, and since one of the best friends would have had to make this sacrifice either way, their fates would not have changed. However, had Nebula braced the rest of the team for what was to come, it would have at least given them a chance to prepare, and say a proper goodbye to Natasha.
