MCU: 11 Characters Who Should Return Through The Multiverse

When Sony Pictures finally released their Venom film back in 2018, there were numerous rumours that the Tom Hardy led adventure took place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, these rumours were seemingly debunked, with the film allegedly taking place within its own reality.

If Sony's universe consisting of Venom and Morbius is successful, the possibility of the characters being introduced into the MCU cannot be ruled out. However, even if the characters are not incorporated into the main MCU universe, the multiverse could be a brilliant way to bring Hardy's Venom into contact with the characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hardy presented the character's inner conflict and anti-hero nature brilliantly, with a conflict between Venom and Tom Holland's Spider-Man being a dream come true for a number of fans, while giving the MCU Spider-Man a truly terrifying foe and potential ally.

This encounter could also result in Venom taking up his more comic book style appearance, by incorporating the white spider emblem to the symbiote on the back of interactions with the Wall Crawler.
