4. Professor X (Patrick Stewart)
While Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier was given a perfectly fitting conclusion to his character arc during the brilliant Logan, it would be a crime to not add his iconic portrayal of the character to this list. Stewart portrayed the character for 17 years and truly made the role his own, showcasing the many complexities of the leader of the X-Men.
Having Stewart return as the respected creator of the X-Men through the multiverse could help pave the way for a new team to be introduced into the MCU too.
Seeing Stewart's Professor X interact with characters such as Mr Fantastic, Doctor Strange and Nick Fury would be fascinating, and he could even explain why mutants have been kept away from public knowledge for all this time. This could then lead to an already established X-Men team being revealed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, hitting the ground running and setting up more mouth-watering collisions going forward.
