Most of the MCU's movies have been criticised for their forgettable musical scores, and rightly so, though Cap's sticks out as a gloriously triumphant homage to classic adventure movies.

The movie's score was composed by Alan Silvestri, the legend behind the iconic scores for Back to the Future, Predator, Forrest Gump and many more, who also composed the memorable score to The Avengers (and is encouragingly composing Infinity War's score).

While so many MCU movies happily settle for middling journeyman music, Silvestri's work here underlines the peppy heroism of the title character, while serving as a loving homage to the sort of sweeping, bombastic scores that are becoming less popular nowadays.
