MCU: 12 Things You Learn Rewatching Doctor Strange

1. The Post-Credits Plothole

Doctor Strange Mordo
Marvel Studios

In the final stinger at the end of the movie, after Strange meets Thor, we get to see a look at Mordo's new vibe: removing the world of Sorcerors in order to stop them messing with the balance of the universe. Despite the fact that he would be dead if it wasn't for a Sorceror messing with the natural order.

Anyway, there's a huge problem with this post-credits scene. In it, Mordo finds Pangborn and somehow uses his own powers to remove the magic that is keeping Pangborn's broken body functioning properly. Reversing an abominable act that messed with the natural order, in other words.

But, it makes no sense at all. Pangborn isn't using a finite amount of magic, it cannot just be removed from him - he says himself that he uses knowledge of magic to tell his body to work. So unless Mordo removes that knowledge - which is impossible - there's no way he'd be able to just reparalyse Pangborn.
