Perhaps that's a little unfair, but the music in Doctor Strange is definitely a bit of an issue. When you look at the likes of Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians and its sequel the music stands out, but the MCU has issues all the way through with a lack of real personality in music.

Strange's score doesn't really have anything that stands out in memory, which you'd sort of expect from a character-led project like this. Traditionally, the likes of Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, the X-Men all had themes that were part and parcel of the identity of the characters, but this is all very nondescript, unfortunately.

Considering it was composed by Michael Giacchino, it comes as a bit of a surprise.
