5. The "Try Me Beyoncé" Moment Is Awful

Just as other MCU movies struggle with dating issues - up to and including Black Panther, in fact - the weird decision to include gags about Beyonce and Adele when Strange first meets Wong in the library is still very jarring.

It's not like Strange particularly comes across as being in touch with meme culture either, so the whole "try me Beyonce" moment is awkward and feels manipulated. He's not a hip young street kid making it in a world that doesn't understand him and that exchange feels a little shoe-horned in here for the sake of a few smiles.

It doesn't work at all in hindsight.
