MCU: 13 Biggest Takeaways From Disney+ Day
1. Marvel Zombies
Once again, the MCU enjoyed great success on Disney+ with its fourth original series, What If…? Though all of the episodes were ultimately tied together by the Guardians of the Multiverse in the finale of the first season, there was one episode in particular that ended on a cliffhanger.
After Scott Lang, Peter Parker, and T’Challa escaped Camp Lehigh zombie free, they came to Wakanda where they were greeted by a zombified Thanos. This would be a perfect place for the Marvel Zombies animated series to pick up from.
However, with the virus hitting the entire world, there is no shortage of stories that could be told from within this particular universe, featuring any number of different characters. This episode of What If...? utilised a lot, but surely there were more survivors than just this troupe of misfit Avengers?
Not only is Marvel Zombies one of Marvel Comics’ most popular what if scenarios in the source matieral, it was also one of the best and darkest episodes of What If…?. Continuing with this story seems like a no brainer, once again, pardon the pun.
