MCU: 13 Biggest Takeaways From Disney+ Day

10. Bruce Banner Is Still Professor Hulk

With Jennifer Walters being the cousin of Bruce Banner, it makes perfect sense for him to have a role in the series. However, even after the first footage shown on Disney+ Day, it’s still very uncertain if this will be similar to in the comics.

In the source material, Jennifer is given the gift of her own Hulk after she has a blood transfusion from Bruce. Clearly he is helping her deal with her new curse in the MCU, and is almost teaching her and monitoring the situation at the same time, but is he the cause of it? What is possibly the most interesting thing confirmed about She-Hulk is that Bruce will, at least in some part, still be in his Professor Hulk form from Avengers: Endgame.

This would make perfect sense if it wasn’t for the fact that Endgame isn’t the last time he was seen. In the post-credit scene of Shang-Chi, Bruce was back in his normal human form, though still with his arm in a sling. What does this mean for both where She-Hulk fits on the MCU timeline, and Bruce’s powers?

Though he is still carrying his injury from snapping his fingers in his human form in Shang-Chi, he is seen in She-Hulk as Professor Hulk with two fully functioning, undamaged arms. Does this mean that She-Hulk takes place after Shang-Chi, giving him enough time to recover, but with the ability to switch freely again between Hulk and human forms? More questions than answers given here.
