Now onto the previously unannounced series that fans of the MCU can look forward to over the next few years. The first of these is Echo, something that, though it has been rumoured about for some months now, wasn’t confirmed until Disney+ Day.

Echo, otherwise known as Maya Lopez, is set be appear in Hawkeye, portrayed by Alaqua Cox before getting her own series. After Makkari in Eternals, she will be the MCU's second deaf superhero, and will be the very first Native American hero in the broader franchise.

Clearly Marvel Studios have faith that she will be a hit, as they are giving her her own spin off before anyone has even seen her in Hawkeye.

Her role alongside Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld before 2021 is right now unclear. She could have a meaty role, or it could simply be a cameo to set up her own series, but there is a lot to be excited about. Aside from her skills and abilities, her connection to Wilson Fisk in the comics could see Kingpin finally come into the MCU for good, if he hasn’t already featured in Hawkeye first.
