11. Hulk Talks - Thor: Ragnarok

It wasn't immediately obvious in the first Thor: Ragnarok trailer, but Hulk has gone through something of an image change by the time we get to see him. He's been gone for a while, having disappeared at the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron and apparently he hasn't been Bruce Banner for that entire time (hence Bruce's confusion over events he should know about).

There's obviously a suggestion there that Hulk has "cured" himself of his Banner condition (thereby furthering the Jekyll/Hyde conflict allegory), and it seems that part of him being able to stick around is that he's evolved. Specifically, he talks. He's not the most eloquent or loquacious of characters, but he has a vocabulary and he's able to hold a conversation with Thor (including busting his balls).

It's a development that's likely to piss some people off, but this is how you make a fully-rounded Hulk character, and given the clamour for his own movie, that's a necessary step (as well as a welcome one).
