14. Gal Gadot (Nebula)

In a May 2013 interview, Gal Gadot talked about being offered a role where "I will have to shave my head and they will color me in blue paint", which is unquestionably referring to Nebula (Karen Gillan) in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Gadot presumably passed on the role, and considering she landed the part of Wonder Woman by the end of that year, it clearly worked out just fine for her.

Would It Have Worked?: Gadot's wiry frame and "exotic" accent would've lent themselves well to the role of Nebula, so she definitely would have nailed the role.

Considering the success she's enjoyed as Wonder Woman, though, it's hard to feel bad about how it turned out, especially as Karen Gillan's pretty fun in the role regardless.
