MCU: 6 Places Shang-Chi Could Turn Up Next

The magic of the MCU’s recent expansion into of the world of limited Disney+ series means that there are even more opportunities for crossovers, and for characters to make the leap into other franchises. Bruce Banner will appear in She-Hulk (and Moon Knight if the rumours are to be believed), and Yelena will rock up in Hawkeye looking to avenge her sister.

There are many projects currently in production for Disney+, however there appears to be one that stands out as the obvious choice for Shang-Chi to show his face, at least in animated form, and that is What If…?.

The series is currently half way through season one, but season two has already been confirmed, and there could be any number of stories within which he could feature. What if Shang-Chi stayed loyal to Wenwu and joined the Ten Rings? What if Tony Stark faced Wenwu when he was abducted? What if the Ten Rings successfully purchased Darren Cross’ Yellowjacket weapon?

Season two will reportedly feature stories based on Phase Four properties, meaning there is a strong chance the Watcher will view an alternate universe’s version of Shang-Chi in some way, shape, or form.
