MCU: 8 Billion Dollar Marvel Movies To Justify Buying Fox
6. The New Avengers
Given how likely it is that Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 will kill off some of the veteran Avengers characters and herald a new era for the super-team led by Doctor Strange of Captain Marvel, the start of Phase 4 is the perfect time to play with the Avengers line-up even more.
Or more specifically, to introduce a whole new Avengers team to the mainline team under Strange or Marvel using Brian Michael Bendis' team from the New Avengers comics as the line-up. Obviously, that would require bringing Luke Cage to the big screen, but it's about time that happened anyway, and seeing this team as the second generation of the Avengers is much more interesting than the idea of the scraps and survivors taking on the mantle.
Who doesn't want to see Wolverine and Spidey in the same team? Who doesn't want to see it led by Cage? Who DOESN'T want Spider-Woman in there too? The fact that they band together in the wake of a catastrophic event is already the perfect set-up.
