MCU: Every Final Battle Ranked From Worst To Best

18. The Incredible Hulk

Avengers Endgame Ending
Marvel Studios

The Incredible Hulk is the often-forgotten stepchild of the MCU. It's technically canon, but it's by far the film that's least connected to the rest of the universe.

It's a shame, really, because it's a decent film, but the action leaves a lot to be desired.

You would think that a giant monster fight would be awseome, and it should be. But two things let this monster fight down: lighting and CGI.

The lighting is very, very dark in this climax. It's hard to make out what you're even seeing most of the time, and as a result it's tough to really be engaged with the action.

But when you can see it, though, you notice the other problem: the CGI is BAD. It's janky and incredibly ugly to look at. It's fitting that the villain's name is Abomination, as he's a CGI abomination.

Hulk's CGI improved vastly in subsequent films, so it's best to forget how he looked here.

Aaron Kirby hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
